Welcome to becomingrefined.com (the "Site"), operated by Becoming Refined Design Studio ("we," "us," "our," "Designer"). By accessing or using this Site, you ("you," "Client," "visitor") agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About These Terms
These Terms govern your use of the Site itself, browsing, contacting us, and general use of the content here. They are separate from, and do not replace, any signed Service Agreement/Contract you enter into with us for a specific branding or website design project. Where a signed Service Agreement exists between you and Becoming Refined Design Studio, the terms of that Agreement govern the specifics of your project (scope, fees, deposits, revisions, timelines, ownership, and related terms). These Terms & Conditions apply in addition to, not in place of, that Agreement.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

Copy, reproduce, or repurpose any content, images, or design elements from this Site without our written permission
3. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including but not limited to logos, images, portfolio work, copy, and design elements, is the property of Becoming Refined Design Studio or is used with permission from our clients, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Portfolio work displayed on this Site represents completed client projects, shown with the understanding that we retain the right to showcase our work in our own portfolio and marketing materials, as outlined in our client agreements.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site for commercial purposes without our express written consent.
4. No Guarantee of Results
Becoming Refined Design Studio provides branding and website design services as described on this Site and in individual Service Agreements. We do not guarantee that any design, branding, or website will result in increased sales, traffic, exposure, brand recognition, or any other specific business outcome. Design services are provided based on the specifications agreed upon in your Service Agreement.
5. Inquiries & Contact Form
We retain contact form submissions, project-related communications, and payment/invoicing records for as long as necessary to fulfill business, legal, and tax obligations, or until you request deletion (see Section 6 and 7).
6. Third-Party Links
This Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as social media platforms, payment processors, or client websites shown in our portfolio). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site, and linking to them does not imply endorsement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Becoming Refined Design Studio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Site. This Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Privacy
Your use of this Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information, including through Google Analytics and our contact form.
